Another fascinating day of the Bootcamp came to a close with a debriefing of our “Magical Moments”. Various experiences were shared and we concluded that each person perceives both the workshops and speeches of distinguished individuals who believe in the vision of our team from a different perspective.
Our day began with a wonderful speech by Ms. Marea Laoutari, a life coach, specializing in breakthrough strategy. Specifically, Ms. Marea talked to us about stress, being anxious and even helped some of us overcome our fears with some simple exercises. She also was really open to all of our questions and even stayed a bit longer than we expected, insisting on answering every single one of them.
Our day held even more surprises as we were assigned a critical challenge, simulating last year’s First Global Challenge in Geneva, that was quite challenging and took up most of our time. However, since we believe in STEAM and not STEM, we also took a break from REV and attended a doodling workshop with the artist Sotiris Fokeas also known as Soteur. We had the opportunity to get to know him through the little activities he assigned us, helping us recall our childhood and encouraging us to make beautiful-carefree drawings and little doodles full of creativity and imagination.
This was the end of an exhausting day for the Greek National Robotics Team… Or so, once again, we thought. Of course, after the lights went out, the lively atmosphere that perfectly describes our team did not end abruptly, having lots and lots of work left.
