The Charity Work Of Eduact And The National Robotics Team Of Greece
“Volunteering is an act of supreme optimism that things can get better and that we can make them better”
John Bridgeland
Eduact’s social work is great, because it is not limited to volunteerism but also many other constructive actions and workshops.
To begin with, Eduact’s representatives in volunteering activities can chose from a massive selection of actions to help with. Mostly the actions involve the organization of competitions. The volunteers in this type of activities are very important, because there are many tasks that have to be fulfilled and can only be achieved with the help of many volunteers.
As said previously, Eduact does not only volunteer, but also organizes fun and educative activities and competitions. The greater competition they bring together is the FIRST® Global Challenge, which takes much effort to not only create a competitive team, but also host. Other competitions include the FIRST® LEGO® Leagues and the FIRST® Tech Challenge.
The great variety of competitions allows children of all ages to have something to compete for. Not to forget the valuable skill each kid can acquire from such events. Students, learn to work together to achieve their goals and not to give up.
Of course, such a big organization also hosts many activities that children can evolve certain skills depending on their preference. Eduact is mostly known for giving exceptional experiences to very young children, so they can grow up form and follow their dreams. Also, Eduact’s S.T.E.A.M. program teaches kids many different aspects of life while also thinking and acting like scientists.
What really sets apart Eduact from other organizations are the exceptional workshops they provide. The workshops include robotics, coding and also creative mornings. In each and every one of these workshops, kids learn about a new field of study in a playful and artistic way. Even though these are very hard subject to master, kids that learn them from a young age and associate them with joy, tend to have a much greater success in these vital 21st century fields and in their overall life.
All of the above, are not only held in the Eduact’s premises, but also in schools. This gives many students the ability to come in contact with these activities and later dig into them. This program also includes lending vital equipment to low statues schools for the preparation of competitions, so that every child can have a chance to achieve something.
Moving to the educators that take care of the kids, Eduact offers training to teachers. It is very important for the success of such projects, that there are personnel suited for the job. Eduact’s staff is specially trained to be able to help children learn through play and this is something that they try to train schoolteachers to do too. Children are the future, and they must be happy.
In conclusion, Eduact’s social work is not limited into a specific sector but is spread across multiple areas to help shape and improve the future.
